Barron L. Stroud, Jr.
Barron L. Stroud, Jr. is a Partner of Brown & Sheehan, LLP. Mr. Stroud is an experienced commercial litigator and AV-rated trial lawyer. He has successfully represented clients in the financial, life sciences, construction and consumer and industrial product industries, among others, including the defense, as lead counsel, of class action litigation. His practice in these industries includes commercial and employment matters, products liability defense and "mass-tort" litigation, and franchise and distribution law. He has tried cases to verdict in many jurisdictions, including state and federal courts in Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico. He was a partner in the Baltimore office of McCarter & English, LLP before joining Brown & Sheehan. Among Mr. Stroud's civic contributions, he serves as a Board Member of the Howard County (MD) Arts Council and served as President of Board of Directors of the Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service. He is a member of the Leadership Maryland Class of 2005 and the Leadership Howard County Class of 2004.
