Michael A. Brown
Mr. Brown is a founding member of the firm. Mr. Brown is a litigator by trade who has significant experience in the areas of employment law (including ERISA), insurance defense and products liability law, banking law and commercial litigation.
Mr. Brown's employment law litigation experience includes the defense of corporations involving Title VII claims, wrongful termination claims, ERISA claims, and various employment-related matters.
Mr. Brown's insurance defense practice includes general liability, premises liability, property damage, wrongful death, and insurance coverage issues. In this regard, he has handled matters for numerous national insurance companies, primarily in the Mid Atlantic Region.
Mr. Brown's products liability practice has led him to handle cases in a number of jurisdictions across the country on behalf of Fortune 500 corporations and other manufacturers. These cases involve asbestos exposure and silica exposure litigation, mechanical product defects, and breach of warranty claims.
